License Status Indicators
Your license dashboard uses colour badges for quick status recognition:
| Colour | Meaning | |--------|---------| | 🟢 Green | More than 30 days remaining | | 🟡 Amber | 7–30 days remaining | | 🔴 Red | Less than 7 days remaining | | ⚫ Dark Red | Expired |
Requesting a License
- Go to Clients → [Client Name] → Request License
- Select the license type
- Submit the request — the admin team reviews and issues the license
- The client is notified via SMS and email upon activation
Renewing a License
- From Licenses, find the client and click Renew
- This triggers an M-Pesa STK Push to the client's registered phone
- The client confirms the payment on their handset
- The license is automatically extended upon payment confirmation
Alternatively, clients can renew themselves via portal.navipos.co.ke.
Hardware Transfer
If a client replaces their computer, the hardware fingerprint changes and the license shows a mismatch.
- Click Request Hardware Transfer on the license
- Submit the new hardware fingerprint
- The admin reviews and approves the transfer
- The license is re-bound to the new machine
Automatic Expiry Reminders
The system automatically sends reminders to both the client and you (the partner):
- 30 days before expiry — email + SMS
- 7 days before expiry — email + SMS
- 1 day before expiry — email + SMS
